Cameron Barney LLP is pleased to announce that it acted as an exclusive financial adviser to Wifinity Ltd. (“Wifinity”) in acquiring PCCW Global Networks (UK) Limited. Simultaneously, Cameron Barney also acted as an adviser to the company in obtaining a senior secured term loan from funds managed by Digital Colony – the purpose of the loan was to refinance existing bank lending, provide additional growth capital and fund the acquisition.

Wifinity builds and operates broadband networks throughout the UK and is best known for its services to the public sector, MoD and holiday parks. PCCW Global Networks (UK) Limited trades under the Optify and Mediaforce brands and this acquisition extend Wifinity’s activities with the MoD, student accommodation and MDU arenas.
