CBHH advises Clean Energy Cap Ltd on securing a significant equity investment from True Green Capital Management LLC to build 750 MWp of private-wire renewable energy projects in the UK

Cameron Barney Herbst Hilgenfeldt (‘CBHH’) is pleased to announce that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Clean Energy Cap Ltd (‘CEC’) in securing a significant equity investment from True Green Capital Management LLC (‘TGC’). The investment will fully fund CEC’s business operations and the development of its UK projects over the next five years.
CEC’s focus is on providing utility-scale ‘behind-the-meter’ projects to large power users (‘LPUs’). CEC develops private-wire solutions to provide LPUs with meaningful direct power, reducing dependency on the electricity grid, enhancing localised power security, and expanding distributed power generation.
CEC was founded in 2021 and has attracted a significant number of well-known, blue-chip customers. The partnership with TGC will propel CEC to the next phase of its growth and deliver operational assets from CEC’s extensive opportunity set.

CBHH has worked closely with CEC over an extended period of time leading up to this significant financing commitment. This has included acting as sole financial adviser to CEC in securing investment from TGC and arranging two rounds of private investment from a network of supportive high-net-worth individuals alongside CEC’s friends and family network.
